So where does personal bias and media bias fit into the world of Tension Management? The intention of the call was to talk about Tension Management based on the chart we created in the last call. Rather quickly, the role of the media as a USEFUL force in Tension Management became the focus, which led to a rather thought provoking discussion. We ended with a challenge to notice your emotional responses when you are exposed to the messaging you are exposed to.

On this call, we explored the Dark Side of the ChangeGrid, looking at the adjectives found in each of the Danger Zones and seeing what happens when the Dangers Zones meet each other. We also talked about Crowd Psychology and how it becomes a manipulating factor in and of itself, ultimately trying to understand how a protest evolves into a riot. Finally, we created a Tension Map of all of the players in the drama and talked about where each of them may be on the ChangeGrid and how that impacts their attitudes, beliefs and behaviors.

Thursday, May 28, 2020 — Manipulation & Shame Shifting, Part 1
On this vitally-important series of calls, we will explore 10+ specific methods through which the public can be manipulated, moving them into areas of the ChangeGrid that leave them very susceptible to becoming victims of the agendas of others. Saturday, May 23, 2020 — “Putting It All Together — Part 5”
On this call, we were very fortunate to have a Newcomer join us and he was open to having his ChangeGrid read by the group of ChangeWorks Professionals on the call. It was a great, relaxed way to acquaint him with two layers of the ChangeGrid and provide insights and guidance.

Thursday, May 21, 2020 — “Putting It All Together — Part 4″
So this is another call that started out with one intention and evolved into exactly what it was meant to be … an in-depth reading of one of our professional’s ChangeGrids. We did successfully answer the questions we set out to answer, and that was IF and HOW the ChangeGrid pointed to a need for further coaching.

Saturday, May 16, 2020 — “Putting It All Together — Part 2”

Thursday, May 14, 2020 — “Putting It All Together — Part 1”
Our plan for this call was to review the entire process, step-by-step, of sending out your Oracle Invitation link, following-up to set a time for the post-training private reading, performing a private reading and expanding the relationship with your student. We looked at the results of the sample ChangeWorks Profile we put together as a starting point and had some great discussions. Overall, we made some good progress!

Tuesday, May 5, 2020 — “Understanding the ChangeGrid from the Oracle Perspective — Part 3”
Before we began our scheduled top (reading a ChangeGrid), one of our professionals asked a question that stimulated a VERY interesting discussion about choosing the right layer of the ChangeGrid to illustrate a point, what “tension override” is and how it can complicate interpretation, how breathing impacts tension and how different breathing patterns can be associate with each area on the ChangeGrid — and how it’s possible for someone to be in their “Ikigai” and STILL be up in Stress. WOW!!
Webinar Recording: https://vimeo.com/415251747
Thursday, April 30, 2020 — “Understanding the ChangeGrid from the Oracle Perspective — Part 2”
During this call, we did a thorough examination on the way the Ikigai model as a CONCEPT overlays on the ChangeGrid as a layer. We discussed where the attempt to overlay resonates and fails to resonate with what we already know to be true — and we talked about the integration turning a STATIC diagram into a DYNAMIC diagram, creating possibilities for the four circles of Ikigai being independent of one another, varying in scope and scale, expanding and contracting on an INDIVIDUAL’s ChangeGrid.

Tuesday, April 28, 2020 — “Understanding the ChangeGrid from the Oracle Perspective — Part 1”
So how do we best fit the ChangeGrid and the Oracle of the Self into building our practices? That’s what we will be exploring in this series of calls. Today, we also looked at a model I first discovered WAY back to the start of things — but set it aside because it didn’t “fit” into what I was trying to do with my corporate clients. Now, because of our focus on the Oracle of the Self, “Ikigai” VERY much fitting into the grand scheme of things. Can you figure out IF the model fits, and if so, HOW it needs to be manipulated to overlay perfectly??

Thursday, April 23, 2020 — “Leveraging the Oracle of the Self — Part 9”
We took a deeper look at the same ChangeGrid as we did on Tuesday, BUT this time we asked and answered the question, “What Activities AREN’T Listed that could make a HUGE difference??” Again, this is all geared toward identifying opportunities to serve in a deeper capacity, so if you’re looking to expand your practice, you really NEED to participate in these calls!

Tuesday, April 21, 2020 — “Leveraging the Oracle of the Self — Part 8”
We looked at another fascinating Newcomer ChangeGrid to look at, so give the recording a listen to polish your skills!

Thursday, April 16, 2020 — “Leveraging the Oracle of the Self — Part 7”
What a GREAT call this turned out to be. We began with a discussion about the location on the ChangeGrid for “optimism” which led to an expansive exploration of variations on confidence and how they plot along the heatline! We talked about the proper way to read a Newcomer’s personal ChangeGrid to provide them with valuable insight and help them see the merits of pursuing deeper levels of training and seeking out your guidance as their coach. We also reviewed HOW and WHY activities can appear to be plotted in the ideal location and STILL not be getting done. If you only listen to one call, THIS IS IT!! You’ll find the ChangeGrid and Activity List below.

Tuesday, April 14, 2020 — “Leveraging the Oracle of the Self — Part 6”
Well, this call began with an interesting question posed by a member of our professional community: “Where does optimism live on the ChangeGrid?” That led to a lot of discussion with others on the call and ended up covering other nouns and adjectives, like: belief, confidence, hope, courage, bravery and several variations as well. That conversation filled most of our allotted time, so at the end I presented a ChangeGrid and an Activity List as homework for this Thursday’s call … and two questions: “Why would activities plotting strongly in Execution NOT be getting done?” and “How would you position your services to best help this individual?”

Thursday, April 9, 2020 — “Leveraging the Oracle of the Self — Part 5”
On this call, we built on what we did on the last call, putting all of you through an informal group “quiz” to help you review and renew your ChangeGrid reading capabilities. This time, we looked at a GROUP profile.
Webinar Recording: https://vimeo.com/406048349
Tuesday, April 7, 2020 — “Leveraging the Oracle of the Self — Part 4”
Following our discussion on the personal and professional Activity Lists for COVID-19, one of our ChangeWorks professionals created and administered a group profile to about a dozen or so respondents. So I thought it would be very interesting and valuable to share the results with all of you, practice your Grid reading skills and show how to take things to the next level.

Tuesday, March 24, 2020 — “Tension Management in Times of Crisis — Part 2”
During this call, we took a deeper look at RESILIENCE … what it is, where it lives on the ChangeGrid and how you can increase resilience during challenging periods. We also went over PowerPoint Maneuvers and why they are so important for ourselves and our clients today.

Thursday, March 19, 2020 — “Tension Management in Times of Crisis — Part 1”
During this call, we covered a lot of rather random thoughts about the COVID-19 Pandemic but ultimately focused on how to help yourself and your clients get into a more productive state of mind by exercising the “DownGrid Maneuvers” — and talked about the importance of keeping ourselves in Power, and moving others into Power to support quality decision making/action taking. We also went over the “Four Aspects of Control” tool for helping achieve greater levels of clarity about our Desired Outcome.
